Why do you have password-protected areas on your website?

Our professional governing body requires that we have a veterinary-client relationship with individuals before communicating medical information to them. These are the areas that require you to enter your client password.

How do I get my password?

If you are a client of our clinic, you may obtain your client password by calling our clinic directly at (613 831-2965). Our staff will confirm your association as a client and provide you with the password.

Why should I spay or neuter my pet?

The most important reason is to control the population of unwanted pets. You may be able to find homes for your puppies or kittens, however, the people who obtain your animals may have otherwise adopted and saved the life of an animal at the local humane society.

There are many health benefits to neutering and spaying your pet as well:

- Your pet is no longer susceptible to uterine infections
- Your pet is no longer susceptible to ovarian cancer
- Reduces the incidence of breast cancer
- Decreased aggression in males
- Decreased incidence of prostate problems
- Your pet is no long susceptible to testicular cancer
- Decreased roaming and fighting
